So.... Its no surprise when I say I am bored. Now, is it?
I decide to make bracelets but I'm so stingy with materials that in one day I only created one friggin bracelet. I went eye-shopping for bracelets. Looked at DIY and brand names. was trying to find something that was ooh-la-la or va-va-voom or... just something spectacular.
It was hard, seeing as I don't have dental floss (etc.) at the moment, picturing myself making those that did interest me. And if I did start making the bracelet, I got so indecisive!!!!! Do I do the button or the pearl or the small tiny bead? Which type of braiding? Am I sure I want to risk this much of this rope/thread/wire? Will it come out perfect?
The last question sums it all up. I like perfection. Even as a high-schooler I couldn't BS homework. You know that homework that teachers just give just for the sake of giving and the don't really check it. like all they are looking for is a sheet of paper with mumbo jumbo on it. Math teachers, especially, couldn't afford the time it would take to actually check for authenticity. But nope, little ole me could not BS. I could only copy someone else's BS or ask them to BS for me.
Unfortunately, I can't ask someone to make my bracelets for me because that would defeat the whole purpose of me wanting to make bracelets.
The first one looks so industrial, like it was factory made-that is until you see the threads. the bracelet is like a combo of the hard and inorganic with the bright and rustic.
Can I get a ne-on!
This one is a winner because I can put all my pretty beads together on one bracelet without a care.the brighter bracelet is a twist because instead of yarn a stretch of cloth is used.
This whimsical one requires a needle. I just love how airy it feels or looks.
And I found a plethora of bracelets. I spied DIY
The below pictures are some of the bracelets I made. I found I rather prefer telephone wire to thread when making the bracelet but not so much when its on my hand because it doesn't obey gravity as much.
the bottom two have the wire the top one was made using the cap of an eyeliner pencil.
